It is exciting to welcome the new school year on our new school campus. This new environment provides TIS students with more educational facilities and more possible ways of learning. During the last month, TIS staff have made great efforts to get the school ready and be a safe learning environment. The classrooms are decorated in ways to stimulate learning interests. And the outdoor space are carefully planned so to help students stay away from possible danger.
In the first week we sent out key information about the school’s food service, bus service, and pick up/drop off policy. We appreciate parents’ cooperation on these regulations and with the mutual support between the school and parents, we can create a high quality learning environment for our students.
We also understood that at this moment, most parents have questions about the school curriculum, course content, and homework. To give out course related information we have arranged the “Curriculum night” on September 18th from 5:00 – 7:00pm for all the parents to walk in the classrooms, attend the information sessions given by each class teacher, and see the actual learning materials for each age level. Parents are highly recommended to participate in this event, as a way to actively involve in your children’s learning. Please remember this is not a time to talk about individual student.
